Innovative Logistics Solutions in Stuttgart

Mediaform Informationssysteme GmbH presents itself this year at the LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart as co-exhibitor on Bixolon’s trade fair stand, Stand D11 in Hall 6. Presentation of the latest mobile, desktop and industrial label printers, together with labels for logistics.

On the trade fair stand of Bixolon, the global producer of advanced document, label and mobile printers, Mediaform will show its product range of printing solutions for the intralogistics market.
From mobile label printers to the portfolio of 2-inch and 4-inch desktop labelling solutions, Mediaform’s presentation is aimed at using the Bixolon XL5-40CT to print carrier-free labels. This 4-inch direct thermal label printer was developed specifically as a linerless printer. The exposed adhesive layer on the reverse side of linerless labels adheres on normal label printers, and gums up the equipment. The built-in Auto-Cutter, a specially-developed, elongated paper path with two siliconised pressure rollers and “Anti-Curl” support ensure the problem-free processing of linerless labels. The compact equipment prints at a printing speed of up to 152 mm/sec. with 203 dpi resolution and a width of 114 mm.

Carrier-free (linerless) labels are labels made from phenol-free thermal printing paper. They are ideal as dispatch labels, since they can be shortened to the length required in each case, and are thus universally usable for all delivery service providers.

Other matching labels are available in a wide variety of designs. From favourably-priced shipping labels and logistics labels that adhere particularly well to surfaces that are difficult to stick to, to roll-form labels on recycled paper.
