KBV changes laboratory order forms 10C and 39 with effect on 1 January 2021, and public health service form OEGD with immediate effect

The German National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) informed that the order forms for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) testing for medical practices (laboratory order 10C) and for the public health service (OEGD) have been updated. The reason is the updated test regulation regarding SARS-CoV-2 issued by the Federal Health Ministry. Modified laboratory order forms 10C must be used from 1 January 2021 onwards, and the modified OEGD order with immediate effect.

According to information from the KVB, the order form for early cancer diagnosis, cervical carcinoma (laboratory order 39), has also been updated. According to the KVB information, the modified laboratory orders must be used from 1 January 2021 onwards.
