MEDIrescue replaces PKD Online

Future-proof online solution for standardised medication identity labelling in the emergency medical services

Mediaform is expanding its software portfolio, and announces MEDIrescue, a modern, web-based software solution for medication identity labelling in the emergency medical services. MEDIrescue replaces the previous PKD Online software, and offers users a powerful, standardised, cloud-based platform that is easy to use and supports simultaneous multi-client management.

As a central component of the MEDIrescue platform, the solution enables the safe, secure, fast and standardised creation of medicine labels in accordance with the recommendations of the German Interdisciplinary Association for Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine (DIVI) and ISO 26825 – thus providing optimum support for the emergency services when implementing medicinal therapy safety (AMTS). Further information on the solution can be found at:  MEDIrescue: Medikationsetiketten im Rettungsdienst.

As part of this portfolio development, sales of PKD Online will be discontinued as planned on 31 January 2026 (End of Sale, EoS). From this date onwards, it will no longer be possible to obtain new licences for PKD Online or to renew licences for it. Support for PKD Online will continue until 31 January 2027 (End of Service, EoSv). During this transition phase, Mediaform will ensure that existing customers continue to receive support as agreed, and can implement an orderly, seamless transition to MEDIrescue.

All customers will be informed about the next steps in good time. The aim is to enable a smooth transition to MEDIrescue, and to provide optimum support for the use of the new web-based solution.
