Wearable scanners - new products now available in the Mediaform online shop
Entry-level models and high-performance scanners, both available immediately
The Mediaform online shop has expanded its range with ergonomic handheld scanners specially developed to allow users maximum freedom of movement and efficiency. These devices offer an innovative solution for numerous applications, particularly in stockholding, distribution, retail and manufacturing, as well as in transport and logistics.
The new scanners do not need a display screen, and allow hands-free operation thanks to their design-optimised carrying system, which makes two-handed work such as carrying boxes or sorting small parts much easier. This not only increases productivity, but also reduces physical stresses in routine tasks.
Two scanner categories for different requirements
We offer two categories of models in our new product range:
- Entry-level models: the Datalogic CODiScan and Zebra RS2100 are ideal for users who are looking for simple, cost-effective solutions.
- High-performance models: the Zebra RS6100 and Honeywell 8675i are suitable for demanding applications requiring higher performance and flexibility.
Flexible wearing options and individual customisation
These handheld scanners can be worn in different ways: as well as the classic position on the back of the hand, some models can also be used on a lanyard around the neck or on a belt, or with special finger holders.
Versatile battery solutions and scanning distances
The scanners are available with various battery options: customers can choose between devices with a permanently-installed battery and those with an interchangeable battery to maximise individual usage time. We also offer models with different scanning ranges to meet particular requirements in warehousing, production or logistics.
The perfect complement to MDA (mobile data acquisition) devices
The new handheld scanners can be seamlessly combined with our MDA devices. Carrying the MDA in a trouser pocket enables users to work comfortably with the handheld scanner, and to transfer the captured data wirelessly to the MDA device, which further optimises process flows.
