Identification labelling software with new features and contents

Price increase for products of our partner Zebra Technologies from 5 December 2022
The US dollar has changed significantly against the Euro and GB pound currencies.
Unfortunately, the result of this is that Zebra Technologies, as an American company, has aligned Euro and GBP prices more closely to market rates, thereby increasing prices by 9.6% from 5 December. -

Technical support for Praxikett Designer Version 3.3.2 is discontinued
Mediaform had already discontinued distribution of Praxikett Designer Version 3.3.2 at the end of 2018. As of 31.12.2022. Mediaform will now also discontinue technical support for Praxikett Designer 3.3.2 - and for all older versions. Hotfixes for Version 3.3.2 will continue to be made available in the meantime.

New solutions ensure a successful DMEA trade fair
Mediaform draws a positive balance again from this year’s DMEA trade fair.
Very good stand positioning and a trade fair performance optimised once more compared to the previous year, with larger areas to present hardware and supplies, ensured that the trade fair progressed well.

Labelling plants on an organic farm
Up to 10,000 push-in labels per month need to be printed at the Apfelbacher organic farm in the peak season. A further approx. 1,000 wraparound labels per season are also required. KBV Updating the OEGD form with immediate effect – Version 2.2022
Because of renewed changes in the specifications arising from the German Federal Health Ministry’s Coronavirus Test Regulation published with effect as of 12 February 2022, a further amendment of the OEGD form is necessary. The checkbox to order a diagnostic variant according to Section 4b of the Test Regulation has been deleted. The KBV has announced that the updated OEGD form (Status 2.2022) can be used with immediate effect. Use of the earlier version with Status 08.2021 is permitted on a transitional basis until the new form becomes available.

Amendment of expectant mother's care record labels
The amended Guidelines established by the German Federal Committee of SHI Physicians and Sickness Funds on Medical Care during Pregnancy and after Childbirth came into force on 1 January 2022.
The so-called “Maternity Guideline” prescribes that, from this date, perinatal care can be documented either in paper form in the tried-and-tested expectant mother's care record or, at the insured person’s request, also digitally in the patient’s electronic file.

KBV update of the EDMPS as of July 1, 2021
According to the German National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV), the new Disease Management Program (DMP) Osteoporosis adopted by the Federal Joint Committee in 2020 will enter into force on July 1, 2021. Likewise, the update of the DMP Diabetes mellitus Type 1 & 2 comes into force.

Use GUID labels to retrieve diagnostic findings securely and easily via a QR scan
Read-out errors occurred in laboratories in the past few months when using GUID Codes on blank forms of the 10C and OEGE type to retrieve findings. In response to requests by various laboratory customers, Mediaform has developed GUID label sets that both solve the readability problem and, in the long term, also enable data-protection-compliant findings transfer for other diagnostic findings.

Germany’s biggest Corona vaccination centre began work in Hamburg’s exhibition halls on 5 January. KBV readjusts OEGD form for SARS CoV 2 testing
The National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) has again revised the public health service (OEGD) form – based on a renewed modification of the specifications arising from the testing regulation issued by the German Federal Ministry for Health (BMV) on 30 November 2020. The only change is that the tick box for travellers returning from risk areas abroad has been omitted, because the costs for testing returning travellers will no longer be refunded from 16 December 2020 onwards. This updated OEGD form (status 12.2020) can be used with immediate effect.

KBV changes laboratory order forms 10C and 39 with effect on 1 January 2021, and public health service form OEGD with immediate effect
According to information from the German National Association of Statutory
Health Insurance Physicians (KBV), the order forms for SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) testing for medical practices (Template 10C) and for the public health service (OEGD) have been updated. The reason is the updated test regulation regarding SARS-CoV-2 issued by the Federal Health Ministry. The modified Template 10C must be used from 1 January 2021 onwards, and the modified OEGD template with immediate effect.
